读《经济学原理》的乐趣

读曼昆的《经济学原理》对我来说是一件愉快的事情。除了补充一些经济学知识，它还附带你通常不指望能从传统教科书中获得的东西。

o 幽默

President Harry Truman once said that he wanted to find a one-armed economist. When he asked his economists for advice, they always answered, "On the one hand, ... On the other hand, ..."

o 脑筋急转弯

什么东西是你的收入越少时需求越多的？我的简单的惯性思维使我愣了一下没想出来。读下去，作者给了个例子，比如乘坐公共交通的需求。顺便抖一下书包，这叫 Inferior good(*)，与之相对应的叫 Normal good(**)。

o 少打喷嚏

对，这条纯粹是我胡诌的。今天又不停的打喷嚏了，结果计划好的游泳也取消了。现在我在被窝里看书，看得专注了，好像鼻子也老实了一些。
