Goodbye, 2006!

2006,我学了几句日语,停了;
2006,我学了几个月车,顺利拿了驾照,却还不敢上路;
2006,我认识了一个人,晃晃悠悠,没有走到圣诞;
2006,我开始跟风写blog, 希望能够延续下去;
2006,我发现每天写email远比写code的时间多,心慌张;
2006,我开始学习经济学,要继续下去;

失败了的,做个深呼吸,从头再来;
开了头的,会继续;

Party

Bad Day

Bad Day
Daniel Powter

Where is the moment when we need it the most
You kick up the leaves and the magic is lost
You tell me your blue sky's fade to gray
You tell me your passion's gone away
And I don't need no carryin' on

You stand in the line just to hit a new low
You're faking a smile with the coffee to go
You tell me your life's been way off line
You're falling to pieces every time
And I don't need no carryin' on

Because you had a bad day
You're taking one down
You sing a sad song just to turn it around
You say you don't know
You tell me don't lie
You work at a smile and you go for a ride
You had a bad day
The camera don't lie
You're coming back down and you really don't mind
You had a bad day
You had a bad day

Well you need a blue sky holiday
The point is they laugh at what you say
And I don't need no carryin' on

You had a bad day
You're taking one down
You sing a sad song just to turn it around
You say you don't know
You tell me don't lie
You work at a smile and you go for a ride
You had a bad day
The camera don't lie
You're coming back down and you really don't mind
You had a bad day

(Oooh.. a holiday..)

Sometimes the system goes on the blink
And the whole things it turns out wrong
You might not make it back and you know
That you could be well oh that strong
And I'm not wrong

(yeah...)

So where is the passion when you need it the most
Oh you and I
You kick up the leaves and the magic is lost

Cause you had a bad day
You're taking one down
You sing a sad song just to turn it around
You say you don't know
You tell me don't lie
You work at a smile and you go for a ride
You had a bad day
You've seen what you like
And how does it feel for one more time?
You had a bad day
You had a bad day

Cappuccino.........
  • Go a head

The Right path

"... I have come to the crossroads in my days, and I have always known the right path, always, without exception, I knew. But I never took it, you know why? Because it's too damn hard. Now here's Charlie;he's come to the crossroads. And he's chosen a path, it's the right path. It's a path made of principle, that leads to character. Let him continue on his journey. You hold this boy's future in your hands committee! It's a valuable future. Believe me! Don't destroy...protect it...embrace it. It's gonna make you proud some day...I promise."

If you've ever watched <Scent of a Woman>, you would know this is the speech Mr. Slade gave at the end of that movie. I'm not Mr. Slade who, without exception, always knows the right path. But I do know, in most cases. Time and time again, I heard the voice from the bottom of my heart but I didn't follow its instructions. Until one day, I found it too weak to hear any more. I wish when I start to listen to it, and step by step follow it, the voice can come back again. Even though it's hard, I want to take the right path to the future I define for myself.

Difficulty with the simplicity

"....I guess I also re-learned that there are other really important things in life worth progressing in parallel. In fact, when it needs to happen, there is little you can do to stop it; and when it needs to stop, there is little you can do to make anything happen. What makes life complicated is the difficulty we have in accepting such simplicity. We have too much desire for those that don't belong to us or that we don't have. I guess it doesn't matter who we are, we can't have everything. We can only take what's given, as we go. Everything is much more easily said than done...."

Happy Birthday!

Anyway,

Vocation

Vocation is you go somewhere and never come back。
